The art for the fighting scenes are masterfully done. But I like those small differences, it's like a little treat. Very much like the anime, with a few minor differences. Not the best arc, but a good bridge into the dark tournament. The first arc is a bit disjointed and feels rushed forward but we do get to see Toguro be a badass so there's that. The first match is a lot of fun here and though it seems goofy at times the end result is kind of messed up and shocking. Dragon Ball basically starting the trend but man oh man does Yu Yu Hakusho basically master it to give us one of the best arcs of all time. You know tournaments are a stable in anime. The second arc gets us into the dark tournament, with the first match underway with my boy Kuwabara. We also get to see Toguro's first level of badass pumped up roid raged powers.
